Bio

I am a philosopher and translator.

2016-2022 adjunct, Jagiellonian University, project: Mystical and rational interpretations of Aristotle’s psychology and especially his nous poietikos, financed by National Science Centre, Poland (NCN).

2014-2016 adjunct, University of Szczecin, project: Is mind in the head? Two philosophies of mind and two accounts of immortality in the philosophy of Franz Brentano, financed by National Science Centre, Poland (NCN).

2013 Ph.D., Jagiellonian University, Franz Brentano’s Aristotelica and especially his interpretation of Aristotle’s Deity and the Relationship: Deity-Humans.

2008 M.A., Jagiellonian University, The phenomenon of ressentiment according to Friedrich Nietzsche and Max Scheler. Overview, confrontation and reconciliation.

I also work to promote philosophy outside the university environment and to popularize science. Below is a list of lectures popularizing philosophy and meetings with writers that I have conducted.

  • May 9, 2023 – lecture "The Beginnings of Ancient Philosophy" for the University of the Third Age in Mieroszów.
  • July 1, 2023 – lecture "The Beginnings of Ancient Philosophy" for the Porcelain Museum in Wałbrzych.
  • March 23, 2024 – lecture "The Beginnings of Ancient Philosophy" for the Sudety University of the Third Age (SUTW) in Wałbrzych.
  • January 18, 2024 – lecture "Does Everything Really Flow? Introduction to the Philosophy of Heraclitus of Ephesus" for the Porcelain Museum in Wałbrzych.
